To join the list of items of a different types as a string, we can use the join() and map() methods in Python.

Here is an example:

myList = [1, 2, 3, '4']

string = ', '.join(map(str,myList))

print (string)

Output:

'1, 2, 3, 4'

or you can join it, without comma’s like this.

myList = [1, 2, 3, '4']

string = ''.join(map(str,myList))

print (string)

Output:

'1234'
